Arizona Northern Lights
Description
From the photographer: “Wow the aurora was strong tonight, reports as far south as Central Mexico of seeing the pinks and purples. Around 9:50 pm, 11/11/25, the sky was so intense, in light polluted Phoenix, it was picked up on my Camelback Cam showing bright to the north of Phoenix. After that I took my mother in law along to my favorite night sky spot, 45 minutes away from Phoenix. We got lucky getting photos here last October during the last geomagnetic storm but Mama Fe missed out, living in California. Now she lives in Arizona so I brought her along and for the 3rd time in the last 18 months, I was able to capture the glow of the aurora in Arizona. Also again I was able to share it with people who wanted to see the aurora, this time with Mama Fe. We were lucky to make it out while the glow was still strong and the moon didn’t rise yet.”
