Angkor Thom at Night

Winter stars including Sirius, Procyon, and constellation Orion rise above the temple of Bayon in Angkor Thom, a world heritage site in Cambodia. Angkor Thom was established as the capital of Jayavarman VII’s empire, and was the centre of his massive building program.  The temple is famous for the serenity of the stone faces in the  temple’s upper terrace.
