Alps at Night
Description
Stars circle above Emberger Alm in Austrian Alps. During 2 hours the Earth rotation has caused startrails around the north celestial pole. Note the North Star or Polaris very close to the celestial pole. Looking carefully at the trails you realize how each star shows a color of its own depending on the star surface temperature.
