Alpine Night Adventures

A mountain biker enjoys the starry sky of Austrian Alps in a night-time adventure. In the background sky stars of Orion and Taurus rise over the Alps. Planet Jupiter and Pleiades star cluster are at the top left. While the horizon dominated by light domes of nearby towns, the transparent sky of high altitudes, reduces the amount of light pollution scattered across the sky, resulting in fairly dark starry skies near to the urban areas.
