Description

A photo composite of multiple exposures. From the photographer: “The Alfred-Kunze-Sportpark always has been an important and adventurous place filled with an ambivalent variety of memories – from my early childhood in the 90s until today.

So it seems very comprehensible – and I am thankful for the trust and freedom – to sneak around the stands with my gear at night. All in all, it felt like a dreamy episode to spend so much time alone in a dark, quiet and empty stadium – a place I usually know as crowded and noisy. It changed my viewpoint once again as it turned out to be very alive and a welcome habitat for many local animals.

For the special anniversary – 100 Years – I decided to focus on time and ended up with a 175min exposure of the unique concrete statues of the GDR Championship Winners of 1964 – the legendary Meisterelf.”
