A Complete Night of Paranal
Description
A 10-hour exposure captured a complete night, from dusk to dawn at the Paranal observatory in Chile. As noted by the photographer “It has to be ‘read’ From right to left: night starts at sunset on the right. The zodiacal light just above is then visible after sunset. The 10-hour clockwise (southern hemisphere) rotation of the stars during the night. And finally early morning light above the Andes on the left”.
