Zodiacal Light over Lake Michigan

From the photographer: “I first read about the rare zodiacal lights on spaceweather.com and had to see if I could see them where I live. Amazingly, they were there! A hint could be seen with the naked eye and I was able to ‘gather their light’ in a time exposure. The break-wall and waves are lit by ‘painting’ with my flashlight.” – © Ken Scott
