Alive to Dream

The arch of the Milky Way rises in this late spring night above a cloud-filled valley in northern Iran on the scenic road of Asalem. From the photographer: “Drowning isn’t always bad. It is a choice. We can choose to be like people who are drowning below these clouds in their everyday lives, in the cities where its lights with their apparent beauty are depriving us from the blessings of the sky. We can choose to drown in a sea of clouds or sea of stars. Or we can choose to drown in a dream which may never come true and enjoy the drowning. Man is alive to dream.”
