Geminid Meteors

A photo composite of multiple exposures. The 2015 Geminid meteor shower from the southern hemisphere. In this photo composite many meteors are caught in successively added exposures over one hour and digitally added to a single short exposure image of the sequence. From the photographer: “The image shows the Mauritius Island visible from Réunion Island during the peak of activity of Geminids. Twenty shooting stars are visible.”
