From the photographer: “This is truly dark and unspoiled view you can witness when you stay at Anakena beach in Rapa Nui National Parkon, Easter Island in the Southern Pacific. Truly fantastic place to be and to enjoy wonderful panorama of starry sky. On this image see a line of palm trees, myriads of stars above, and .. even the Gegenschien indeed (a part of the zodiacal light 180 degrees from the sun, challenging to see at darkest places).”
