Stratosphere Eclipse View

From the photographer: “The view through the windows of a G650 jet, 45000 ft high above Pacific Ocean, during the 2017 August 21 total solar eclipse. Our 12-year old passenger Maya Thompson, winner of the Airbnb NightAt contest, was amazed by the scene. Flying on the edge of stratosphere, some 400km off the coast of Oregon I was on assignment for National Geographic to capture the first photographs of the eclipse before it hits the coast and then across the US.”
