Description

Winter stars in constellations Orion and Canis Major are photographed in a fisheye view from the Ka’ba-ye Zartosht, meaning the “Cube of Zoroaster” in Persian. It is a 2500-year old Achaemenid-era tower-like construction at Naqsh-e Rostam near Persepolis, southern Iran. There is no confirmed clue about the purpose of this structure (and another identical tower in Pasargadae).
