Sky Above Saint Birgitta

From inside a sacred cave in Finsta, Sweden, a time-exposure image shows the rotating sky (star trails) around the north celestial pole, marked by Polaris. It is believed that Saint Birgitta (the Bridget of Sweden) is born in 1303 here in Finsta and she has used this cave for praying. © P-M Heden
