Canaries by Moonlight
Description
Moonlight illuminates the Atlantic Ocean as seen from La Palma, Canary Islands. In the sky constellation Canis Major (the Great dog) is on the right with Sirius, the brightest star in the Earth night sky and in the stellar neighborhood of the Solar System, about 8 light years away. Mount Teide appears above the clouds. Reaching 3718 m high, Teide is a large volcano in the neighboring island of Tenerife. On the far right is the island of La Gomera.
