Santorini by Candles

An exceptional night view of Oia, a town of Santorini island, Greece. The Milky Way appears over candle-lit restaurants. The island is known with its postcard iconic views of the cliff-top towns and historic churches at the edge of Santorini caldera in the southern Aegean Sea. But the view at night is dominated by thousands of lights in this tourist hotspot. This image is made during a major blackout in August 2013 due to fire in the main power station.
