Satellite Flashes over Watctower

By reflecting sunlight toward the Earth, an Iridium communication satellite flares brightly in the summer sky above Holoh watchtower in the Black Forest, southwestern Germany. The Milky Way appears from Sagittarius (lower right) to Cygnus (upper left) in this fisheye view. The Black Forest or Schwarzwald is a wooded mountain range in Baden-Württemberg state of Germany and one of the last remaining areas in Germany where the natural starry sky is still visible. © Stefan Seip
