Southern Cross and a Flax Plant

From the photographer: “The Southern Sky is full of bright gems. Seen here from New Zealand, is the Southern Cross (Crux) region of the sky, with the pointers Alpha and Beta Centauri above, and the carina Nebula Below. The silhouetted is the flowering stem of a flax plant, native to New Zealand.”
