Description

A photo composite of multiple exposures. From the photographer: “Even though I was pretty busy at the end of October, I just couldn’t miss the last chance to make a photo of the comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS with this symbol and monument of the eastern Slovakia – the Spiš Castle It is the second largest castle in the Central Europe and one of the largest castles in Europe listed also in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, more than 900 years old. The shooting was actually performed right next to a very frequent road and not only the passing cars, but also the nearby town of Spišské Podhradie with some light pollution made it a little challenging. But the authenticity and true alignment of the castle and the comet with the Milky way was important for me, so there was not a much better option. Nevertheless, I was really surprised that despite the conditions how it actually came out in this final panorama.”
