Description

From the photographer: “The Hunter’s Moon (October full moon) was rising just after the sunset. After noticing the direction that will be rising from, I decided to capture it rising behind the Acropolis Hill, ideally behind the monument of Parthenon; my predictions were spot-on. I arrived on location just a couple of minutes before its appearance, so the time efficiency was crucial.

After a while, something magical happened; the sky was filled with colors that seemed like a fairytale. The thin layer of clouds that were in the sky was a game-changing factor that upgraded this scenery to the next level. While the sky was getting darker, the layer of clouds was still there, contributing to another ethereal scenery, creating a hallow around the moon.”
