Chasing Comets
Description
From the photographer: “This was from Sunday night an hour away from my home in Phoenix. 10//l13/24 7:29 pm. One reason why I love living here. While I’m deep in light pollution I can drive a short distance and get to skies so dark you could see this with your naked eye. I recommend you get out of the city and look west 30-40 minutes after sunset. Your cell phone can help you find it at first but soon you won’t need anything but your eyes since it’s really bright with a long visible tail. Found this saguaro to get a shot of the comet before it set over the horizon, easy to find with the bright moon which also shows you how bright this comet is, punching through all that moonlight.”
