From the photographer: “The full moon, rising above the small Provencal village of Vinon sur Verdon, France. The picture has been taken from about 4 km from the village, after careful planning. I like the different layers, with the village in the foreground, the forest in the middle ground and the French Alps with the Moon in the background.”
