Milky Way Above the Kythira Island

From the photographer: “During holidays, I always try to spend some time outside in nature; some time of freedom. My favorite is spending time under the stars, observing and capturing the beauty of the night sky. In this way, I’m able to relax and forget for a moment all the other thoughts that bother me.
This summer, I visited one incredible island, with lots of beautiful places, the island of Kythira. For this image, I went to Kaladi Beach, which is the most famous one on the island. I imagined this exact frame weeks before I arrived on the island. Although, during our stay on the island we faced heavy winds and not such a clear atmosphere, on our last night, thankfully, I was able to capture the image I imagined.”
