A photo composite of multiple exposures. From the photographer: “This photograph is the last of a busy evening spent at the Argimusco site. It is able to restore the magic of a silent night under a blanket of stars. It’s a simple image: Ursa Major in an almost vertical position approaching a small tree. The tree, in turn, stands out on top of a hill against which countless stars twinkle in the background. Small clouds move quickly as if to paint the sky with soft veils of white. An image that seems to freeze a moment of immense serenity and pure beauty in time. Move the slider on the image to show/hide labels.”
