Lunar Eclipse Light Trails
Description
A photo composite of multiple exposures. From the photographer: “Parallel to the series shot, another camera recorded a continuous light trail of the lunar eclipse. The exposure time was kept constant in order to capture the dramatic changes in brightness and colour. The umbra phase ended with the onset of dawn. As dusk progressed, the western rim of the Caldera de Taburiente already glowed orange, while the moon was still in the Earth’s penumbra and soon set at sunrise. The village of Llanos de Aridane, far down in the valley, is still in darkness.”
Technical details: Multi exposure, 364 frames, one for the foreground, 24 mm | f/5,0 | ISO 200 | each frame 3,2 sec.
