A photo composite of multiple exposures. From the photographer: “During a previous trip, I noticed that Enisala fortress, near the Danube Delta in Romania, on top of a single hill, might be perfect to capture the Milky Way core. The 14th century fortress located at the 116m hill, dwarfs compared to the size of the visible Milky Way.“
