Orion Constellation Above Lake Doxa

From the photographer: “After an amazing day at lake Doxa, where we had a picnic and a walk around the lake, I ended up capturing some nightscape images. Besides the low temperatures, there were many people enjoying the landscape as we did, some of them had set campfires as you can spot in the center of the frame. The constellation of Orion was the most interesting subject this time of year, so I tried to capture it above the beautiful lake. It wasn’t that easy though, because I ended up taking a vertical panorama in order to include all the elements I wanted in my frame. It turned out that the final result fulfilled my objectives.”
