The Wolf Moon

The full moon sets in the morning sky, over the Piarist Church of Veszprem, Hungary. This is the Wolf Moon; a full moon that occurs in January. Its name comes from hungry wolf packs that would howl outside the villages of Native Americans in this season. © Tamas Ladanyi
