Stars Above the Bungle Bungles

The southern stars, including the Southern Cross (center) sparkle above the moonlit Bungle Bungle Range (Purnululu National Park) in the far north of Western Australia. Purnululu is the name given to the sandstone area of the Bungle Bungle Range by the Kija Aboriginal people. The world heritage listed “Bungle Bungles” is a spectacular location to view and appreciate the night sky.
