Stargazing Over the Geyser
Description
As seen on Astronomy Picture of the Day, a starry night above the World Heritage Site, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. The yellow patch in the foreground is an eruption of Old Faithful Geyser, a strong cone geyser that can shoot 14000–32000 liters of boiling water to a height of 30–55 meters.
