Description

The night was pitch black and starry in the White Mountains, New Hampshire, except for the moments when a car was passing the road next to the lake. I noticed an approaching car with a bright blue LED headlight. The air was misty and made the perfect condition for strong rays to form through the tree line. It’s striking how intensive some of the newer car headlights are at night, a growing issue for drivers safety (causing glares and accidents) and for nocturnal wildlife.
