Rising Milky Way Over Lake Biviere di Cesarò

From the photographer: “Inside the Nebrodi Park it is possible to venture into places as hidden as they are fascinating. Not far from the town of Cesarò and near Mount Soro, it is possible to discover two lakes immersed in nature and in the woods: Lake Maulazzo and Lake Biviere di Cesarò. Of course it is not easy to reach them because of the sometimes bumpy road, especially after the winter season, but with a little courage and not a little effort it is possible to enjoy the enchanted view of these bodies of water. The photograph shows Lake Biviere with a view of Mount Etna. The scenery is enchanting … no noise except the call of some nocturnal animal, the sweet smell of grass and wet earth pervades the air caressed by a very light breeze that sometimes gently ripples the surface of the lake. The stars are reflected on the water in the reeds. Few clouds cross the sky playing hide and seek with the Milky Way. Once again the boundaries blur and you get lost in the dream of a place that seems to belong to an alpine landscape.”
