Winter Milky Way in Sicily

From the photographer: “Lake Maulazzo is a body of water set within the Nebrodi park. We are located on the north-eastern slopes of Monte Soro, and although it is an artificial reservoir of about 5 hectares, built in the 80s by the Forest Administration of the Region, the nature in these has transformed it into a place of undoubted charm . During the night, the stars are reflected in its waters and in autumn it is possible to be thrilled by the warm colors of the leaves of the surrounding forest. Silence allows you to come into contact with deep space and few sounds, the squawking of some ducks or the rooting of pigs in the park, do not interrupt the state of contemplation and intimacy with nature. A lonely fox approaches us regardless of what is happening around it.

Everything seems perfect but nothing can be compared with the amazement of admiring the winter Milky Way rising on its waters reflecting itself of multiple gems of light.
