Carnac under Moonlight
Description
Moonlight on the mysterious Carnac Stones near the coast of Brittany, France. Carnac is one of the most extensive Neolithic menhir (large upright standing stone) collections in the world with more than 3,000 prehistoric standing stones, which were erected between 4500 BC and 2000 BC. One interpretation of the site is that successive generations visited the site to erect a stone in honor of their ancestors. View this virtual reality video made from this panoramic image to “feel” how it looks being in the middle of Carnac Stones at night.
