The Red Sky

A circular 360-deg panorama represents the entire sky during an intense red airglow activity. Captured in the very dark sky of Central Desert of Iran, this was the brightest airglow activity that I’ve imaged in my 10 years career in night sky photography. Airglow is the natural emission of Earth’s upper atmosphere.
