Hoštiná to Starry Sky

Every year for decades, a wonderful tradition comes on hills of Hoštiná, Slovakia, where dozens of astronomy enthusiasts meet astronomers at StarParty Hoštiná. Despite some light pollution from Púchov city, everybody enjoys the beauty of the night sky with children by a campfire (or already sleeping in tents) and not far away from an astronomical telescope.

This year, even if the COVID situation made it more difficult and quite limited, the party had to happen again. And it did! Not so many people like in no-covid years before, but it didn’t lose any magic of it. What a wonderful time in Hoštiná 2021!
