Milky Way and Magellanic Clouds Above Giant Forked Cactus

A single exposure photo of the Milky Way and Magellanic Clouds above a giant forked Echinposis atacamensis cactus on Incahuasi Island in the middle of the Salar de Uyuni (the world’s largest salt flat) in southwest Bolivia. There was quite a lot of yellow / green airglow about on this particular night. The cactus has been lit by low level lighting using an LED panel.
