Observers Paradise

Southern Milky Way as seen in the extremely dark nights of Atacama Desert in Chile. As noted by the photographer “It’s a single exposure taken at altitude of 2000 meters near the observatories of Cerro Tololo and Cerro Pachon. This country is fantastic, you just park your vehicle anywhere far from a city, and the sky is clear weeks after weeks”.
