The Eclipse and the Volcanoes

One of the most beautiful eclipses in the recent decades took place in the Andes on November 3, 1994. That morning, the Moon’s shadow crossed the Altiplano and high volcanoes in Bolivia and Chile, the Parinacota and the Pomerape, behind the high altitude lake of Chungara.
