Winter Palace

Winter stars, from Sirius in the lower left to the stars of Orion and Taurus (the Bull), over the 1600-year old palace of Sasan in Sarvestan, Fars Province, Iran. This palace in southern Iran was used by Sasanid kings of ancient Persia during winter.
