Crescent Moon Above Stralsund

To the end of the year 2016 the weather was hopeful for seeing a very very thin moon, less than 2% illuminated. It was clear, dry an cold, and I saw the “new moon” until he reaches the horizon. That’s a rarely phenomenon in our region. But what happens to the cresent moon? Perhaps it is a red flash at the bottom side. On the left side you can see the famous townhall of the Unesco World Heritage City Stralsund. The original townhall was build at the beginning of the 13th century, the newer frontage we see today was completed in the year 1444. How many cresent moons will passed by since nearly 600 hundred years?
