Spirit of Percival Lowell

The famous Lowell observatory and telescope atop Mars Hill in Flagstaff, Arizona, is regularly open for public observing – and its red-lit interior makes for a colorful photograph. The zero-magnitude star Vega can be seen through the dome slit.
