Amargosa in Moonlight
Description
A moonlight winter night sky featuring the colorful eroded landscape of the Amargosa Range in Death Valley National Park, USA. The unique colors of this scenery were created from sediment deposits from Furnace Creek Lake, which dried up millions of years ago. This section of the Amargosa Range offers an otherworldly experience, and it is evident from the fact that some scenes in the Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi were shot in this area.
