Pulsating Aurora ᐉ
Description
Pulsating aurora borealis in a real-time video from Iceland, during the March 2015 Geomagnetic storm. As explained here on a NASA webpage, this certain type of aurora appears as patches of brightness regularly flickering. Pulsating auroras are so-called because their features shift and brighten in distinct patches, rather than elongated arcs across the sky like active auroras.
