Description
The rotating sky in timelapse motion. These time-exposure photo sequences display how stars are moving in the sky and rotating around the north celestial pole, marked by the north star Polaris, a constant motion caused by the Earth rotation. The clip is made of about 8200 images, total of 104 hours under the sky, from various locations India: Hanle, Devasthal, Ranikhet, Garhmukteshwar, Allahabad, and New Delhi (2010 – 2013).

These shots are seriously amazing. I try to take some star trails and make them into videos but can sometimes take me hours. Getting to the point what program did you use to get the trail line video thing haha
January 10, 2014 at 4:27 amHello Myers, I used Photoshop action for cumulative star trails. I also used layers with time varying opacity in Premiere for making movie.
