Photo Report: First TWAN Exhibit in Japan
From June 7 to 24, 2013, the first TWAN exhibition in Japan was hosted by Konica Minolta Plaza art gallery in Tokyo. Publication of a TWAN book in Japanese in 2012 introduced The World at Night imagery to art and photography communities in Japan. Based on a selection of over 30 photos from the book, TWAN exhibition was open to public in this busting central Tokyo location. According to TWAN-Japan photographer and coordinator Shingo Takei “It was a great success. The exhibition was visited by over 14000 people.” More information in Japanese on the exhibition page.
