Conjunction of Moon and Venus over the Alps
Description
From the photographer: “The 3% crescent moon rose along Mars (too high for the picture), Venus, which was close to the fainter star Zaniah. The dark side of the moon was very well illuminated by the Earth shine of civil dawn that morning, and seeing the conjunction rise above the Swiss Alps was surely a sight to behold! Stitched panorama of 3 horizontal shots.”
