Stockholm Planets

Over the city lights of Stockholm few stars are still visible. The two brightest in this panoramic view are in fact planets Venus and Jupiter in a celestial conjunction. They are the brightest planets in the Earth sky. To their left stars of constellation Taurus and Orion are visible. The beautiful planetary conjunction was an eye-catching view from all around the planet during March 2012. © P-M Heden
