South Tufa with Moon and Milky Way
Description
From the photographer: “This shot was taken just a couple days after the new moon, so it was bright enough to illuminate the scene, but not so bright as to wash out the Milky Way and stars. There are a couple prominent stars, one has a red glow around it. I have tried unsuccessfully to identify them. I welcome helps.”

Brightest spot “two o’clock” from the moon seems to be an internal lens/filter reflection. The other bright spot far right is Arcturus. Under the moon you can also see Mars.
