Neo-Megalithic Monument

From the photographer: “Years ago I took a picture of the stars above an neo-megalithic monument at Fuerteventura. In the meantime local authorities have realized the extraordinary dark sky above Fuerteventura and have established Reservas de biosfera – Protection del Cielo Nocturno. This location deep in the mountains near Pajara is designed as an archaic observatory. I’d like to dedicate this picture to my wife Vera, who showed me the beautiful places of Fuerteventura.
