Harbor Supermoon
Description
As seen on the National Geographic News the full moon rise over a harbor in Brittany, western France. The captured moon was the largest full moon of 2012. The name supermoon for the largest full moon of each year is a becoming a popular term, though angular size of the moon does not change that much, not notable to human eyes at all and supermoons are just slightly larger in apparent size because of closer distance to the Earth. This image is part of a time-lapse video that shows the rising Moon and the gently rocking boats near La Perdrix lighthouse.
